I’m Pablo Pérez Alonso, passion for Aragonese folklore and classical dance.

I focus my current work on contemporary dance and the investigation of contemporary movement through character and popular dance.

Born in Huesca, developed a strong passion for Aragonese folklore and classical dance in his hometown, where he trained and studied.

In 2010, he started his career as a professional dancer, when he joined the dancing academy Compañía de Miguel Ángel Berna.

During this time, Pablo toured for over ten years across Spain and Europe, performing in countries including Italy, France, and Israel.

In 2022, Pablo moved to Madrid to study Contemporary Dance, joining Descalzinha Danza dance school, where he trained and learned from reputable figures like Maura Morales, Antonio Ruz, Horacio Macuacua, Lali Ayguade, Maximiliano Sanford, Guillermo Weickert, Fabian Thomé, Nicolas Richini, Danae & Dionysios, Diana Bonilla, Lucio Baglivo y Alleyen Dance, to name a few. Moreover, he was part of choreography projects led by well-respected names such as Ziya Azazi, Mey Ling Bisogno, Richard Madcherin and Mercedes Pedroche.

Currently, Pablo continues creating and directing his projects including Bailaban las perolas [coproduced with Laura López Muñoz] and Bailamos en inclusión – Asociación Down Huesca. In addition, he is the director of Tierras de Qala´t, and is also working on a brand-new project with Fx Kollektiv.
